Boys and Girls Club of Santa Cruz County, 543 Center Street, 423-3138, summer hours are M-F, 10-5:45pm. School year hours are M-T-Th 2-8:45pm and W-F 1-8:45pm. The schedule of the Club is coordinated with the SC City School's K-9 school schedule. First 5 Santa Cruz County, an independent countywide commission focusing on children 0-5 years old and their families. Institute for Youth Development, YD is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that promotes a comprehensive risk avoidance message to youth for five harmful risk behaviors that are inextricably linked: alcohol, drugs, sex, tobacco and violence. Omega Nu has an Annual Rummage Sale and Ducky Derby. The rummage sale is a major fund-raiser for Omega Nu. 100% of the proceeds are given locally for scholarships, medical care, dental care and other forms of assistance. Last year with the proceeds from the Rummage Sale and Ducky Derby, Omega Nu was able to contribute $65,765.00 to our community! ($50,500.00 will go to scholarships this year!)
