As part of Independent Bookstore Day on April 28th, Bookshop Santa Cruz is pleased to announce that Mayor David Terrazas will host a student civic participation activity, inspired by the book Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You by Marley Dias, from11:00am–noon.
Bookshop will have several activities built around civic engagement at this event that are perfect for kids and families—including the Young Writers Program helping students write activist letters.
