The Elkhorn Slough Outdoor School combines the fun and excitement of kayaking in the Elkhorn Slough with the intriguing exploration of beach-hiking around Monterey Bay's coastal dunes. With content modeled around the California Education Standards, our trained naturalist guides show groups of children around this magical place while discussing and viewing marine mammals, birds, and plants. 831-724-5692

Horse-n-Around Summer Horse Camp/Lesson Program 2015

Students will explore a variety of subjects from horse anatomy to riding. Students will ride both bareback and in saddle to develop balance and security. Students will bring bag lunches which will be enjoyed in the redwood grove. The children will experience summer days at a horse ranch and have fun running around after the horses, ponies, foals, goats and much more. They will enjoy picking apples in our apple orchard. The sessions will be filled with riding, bathing, feeding and cleaning and preparing the horses to bed down for the day. Live Earth Farm Camp 2015 Art on The Farm, Session 1: June15-19, 2015 Session 2: July 13-17. 2015; ages 6-12; 9am-3pm; $300-$350
Farm to Table, June 22-26, 2015 ages 6-12; 9am-3pm; $300-$50
Sprouts Camp, Session I, July 6-10, 2015; Session II, July 27-31, 2015, ages 3-6 with or without a parent; 9am-12noon; $200-$250
Art on the Farm: campers will explore the wonders of nature through farming and artisic expression. Activities will include printing from natural materials, musical instrument making, cheese making, felting and so much more!
Young Farmers Camp,
