Cafe Cruz, you can get great "grown-up" food, yet the staff is very accomodating to kids; crayons are brought to the tables so kids and grownups can doodle while they wait; the atmosphere is conducive to kid-sized voices (though good manners are expected, as well they should be), and the kid menu has good selections" 2621 41st Avenue, Soquel, 476-3801 D-R Martin, Soquel

Dharmas
"Tofu dogs, burritos, etc. will appeal to kids, also milkshakes, pasta, and more. They have little toy plastic animals all around for kids to play with while they wait. TIP: There is one raised seating section that has about 3 tables and is sometimes empty. If no one is seated in that section, there is more room for kids who are wiggly." D.R Martin
