Cabrillo Strings/Suzuki Music Program Susan C. Brown, Director. With over 26 years of service to the community, the Cabrillo Strings/Suzuki Music Program provides a complete musical education for children 5 - 18 years of age. Private lessons and group ensemble instruction offered on violin, viola, cello and string bass. Schedule and fees for private lessons are arranged with the individual instructor. Friday orchestras and chamber ensembles, offering three levels of instructions, and held at Cabrillo College Campus during the Fall Spring semesters, ending with a program recital. JAMBALAYA FAMILY MUSIC PROGRAM Jambalaya invites everyone  into the warm, Loving, accepting classroom of exploring introductory Offer: $40 for 4 Class Pass, to be used within first month 

Our basic course is an hour and a half, offering 45 minutes of music exploration and dance. followed by an additional 45 minutes of family, social hour. The first 45 minutes introduces children and parents to a variety of new music and dance by introducing them to songs and dances from around the world. the second half is designed for parents and children to get to know others in the community and for children to have a chance to play. Little Mozarts 4 FUN  Music classes for children aged 4 and up. We specialize in group piano lessons for several different ages. Little Mozarts (4-6), Hip Haydns (7-10), summer only  - Mini Mozarts (3-6). Not the piano lesson of your childhood years!  We incorporate movement, singing and the imagination as our young students learn all about piano and age- appropriate music concepts through cuddly characters Mozart Mouse, Beethoven Bear and a yellow cat! Our Hip Haydns classes learn the basics of piano technique through a wide variety of musical styles from classical to jazz. Instruction incorporates Kodaly (solfege) and Orff methodologies.
